You may not have your finger on the pulse of the color trends, but Pantone sure does. Each year Pantone, known as the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards, picks a color of the year. While I was partial to last year's vibrant Emerald green, I know many people who adore purple (including my SIL) and I love using it for parties. Radiant Orchid (don't you just love the name?) gets me excited for warmer weather - I think of vibrant hued flowers, berry-stained hands and breezy spring dresses. So today's stylish secret is a little ode to the 2014 Pantone color of the year, showing you a few creative and non-committal ways to incorporate the trend without paining a whole room purple. Add a splash of Radiant Orchid to your table, food, wardrobe and makeup bag. After all, there will be new color of the year next year, and you don't want to have to repaint.
