Liberty Ale, a hoppy and well-balanced American IPA with an all-American label (important for my theme!).
Liberty Ale goes well with traditional cookout fare (barbecue, grilled chicken and salad) on a hot summer day. For the history buffs out there, according to Anchor Brewing, Liberty Ale was first brewed to celebrate the bicentennial of Paul Revere’s historic ride, and was the first modern American IPA brewed after prohibition.
Anchor Brewing has a great
beer locator feature on their site that makes it simple to find stores in your hood that sell not just their beer, but a specific kind, such as Liberty Ale.
